DEER PARK

Service for Melson D. Hyde, 66, will be Saturday at noon in the Deer Park Middle School Gymnasium.

Mr. Hyde, a 40-year resident of Deer Park, died Sunday. He was born in Manchester, Iowa.

He taught in Deer Park for 27 years, and coached basketball and baseball.

Mr. Hyde was a member of Christ's Church of Deer Park.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Twyla; two sons, Mark Hyde and Marty Hyde, both of Deer Park; a daughter, Tori Cunnington of Yakima; and five grandchildren.
