Brief mention was made last week of the death of a former resident, Earl W. Arbegust, 61, at his home in Oelwein. The following particulars are now avai1able, furnished by the Lamont Leader:

Mr. Arbegust was born in Lamont, Nov. 19, 1891, son of Dayton and Ladora Arbegust. For several years he was cashier of the the Farmers State bank of Lamont, and is survived by his wife, Minnie, a daughter, Mrs. Wm. Horne of St. Paul, Minn., a son Dayton Arbegust, serving with the air force in Sherman, Texas, a grandson, Steven Horne and a brother, Loren Arbegust of Manchester. Funeral services were held on Saturday.
