Two marriages were conducted by Rev. Van Nice at his residence June 26th, Milton Schlitter and Miss Evelyn Mielke, both of near Luana, Iowa, and Mr. G. A. Dodge and Mrs. Amanda Bristol, of Colesburg, Iowa. The latter were old acquaintances of Rev. Van Nice.

George & Amanda Dodge are enumerated in Colesburg, Colony twp., Delaware co. Iowa on the 1930 Federal census. He is 73, she is 62. Bernice Bristol, 25, step-daughter; John Smith, 59, brother-in-law and Joe Smith, 55, brother-in-law, are living in their household.

Peter & Amanda Bristol are enumerated in Colesburg, Colony twp., Delaware co. Iowa on the 1920 Federal census. He is 63, she is 51. Bernice, 15, daughter and John Smith, 50, brother-in-law are living in the household.
