Info from obit of Byran Stout: Born August 11, 1828 in West Vvirginia. Died December 9. 1906 near Leon, Iowa. Married Cynthia Ann Wilders in 1856. She died in 1869. Children were Bryan Lloyd, Robert C., Nancy J., and Mrs. Anna B. Giles. After her death, he took the girls to West Virginia and left them there. When he came back, he courted and married Catherine Vanderpool in 1871. Children were William J. and H. D. Hiram died at age 14. (William J. Stout married Clara Lillian Bruner, sister of my Great-Grandmother, Fannie Bruner Priest). I have the entire obit if you'd like a copy.
