My g-grandfather Robert Samuel Landes (of Grand River) went to watchmaking school in Winona, Minnesota abt. 1890.
Among some old pictues I found the following..
E.P. MORGAN
NELSON
LYMAN BRENNER
TWO LOVELY YOUNG LADIES

I thought at first they were probably people he met there but one Lyman Brenner is listed as married Oct. 23, 1894 in Grand River to Ida May Benning in LDS files.
