Decatur County Death Records have Charles H. York born 11Oct1891 in Missouri and died 16Sep1953 near Lamoni, cause of death was a fractured skull. Father: George York. Mother: Sara E. Tull. He was removed to Bethany, Missouri for burial. I found a front page story in the LEON JOURNAL-REPORTER about a manslaughter charge concerning his death.
