RUTH WAGNER was born June 9th, l895, at Marengo, Iowa, and died April l3th, l92l, at the age of 24 years, l0 months and 4 days. She moved with her parents to Garden Grove in l908, where she remained until four years ago, removing to Des Moines where she was employed as florist by the Iowa Seed Company. In February, l920, she was stricken with influenza from which she never entirely recovered and on the following June she went to Colorado for her health, remaining there until death called her.

She was baptized and taken into the Methodist Church at the age of eight years and remained a consistent member till her death. She was preceded to the other world by one sister, JANET, and leaves to mourn her loss, her parents, MR. and MRS. J.W. WAGNER, her sisters, GLADYS and EDITH, brothers, EARL and EVERETT, and grandmother, MRS. M.V. WAGNER, all of Garden Grove, besides a host of other relatives and friends, who loved her dearly.

In the ending of such a pure, noble life, we feel that it has not been sacrificed in vain and that the world is better in her having lived. The funeral services were held in the M.E. Church Sunday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G.J. Winslow. The remains were laid to rest in the Garden Grove Cemetery.
