Thursday, August l7, l9l6POCAHONTAS ONEY, the eldest daughter of HENRY and HENRIETTA ONEY, was born near Leon, Iowa, January 6, l870, and died near the place of her birth, August l2, l9l6. MISS ONEY is survived by her father and three sisters, MRS. CLEM JENKINS, MRS. GEORGE HINDS, of Leon, and MRS. E.M. FESSLER, of San Antonio, Tex.
When a child fourteen years of age, MISS ONEY became a member of the Christian Church and to the day of her death was a devout member, having the interests of the Kingdom at heart. On account of sickness she was not so well known to the younger members of the church, but the older ones boar testimony of her devotion and faithfulness. Another one of God's children has left the world of suffering and transitory wealth to be with her God and to be the possessor of eternal wealth.
Funeral services were conducted from the home at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon by Henry Esch. Interment was at the Leon Cemetery.
