CATHERINE ANN HENSLEE was born in Licking County, Ohio, April 28, l836, and died at the home of her son, A.H. PORTER, Tablerock, Neb., July l0, l9l6, being at the time of her death, 80 years, 2 months and l2 days of age.

She was united in marriage to HIRAM C. PORTER in l856. To this union seven children were born, five sons and two daughters, one daughter dying in infancy.

Her husband departed this life August l4, l888. She confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Church of the Brethren about the year l876, and lived a consistent Christian life until the time of her death.

The six children who survive her are WILLIAM and MATTHEW PORTER, of Decatur, Iowa, MRS. LAURA SISSEL, of Custer City, Oklahoma, A.H. PORTER, of Tablerock, Neb., M.M. PORTER, of Leavenworth, Kansas.

The funeral services were held at the Franklin Church conducted by A.L. Sears, Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
