Emma L. Sutton Roberts, 93, Lamoni, Iowa, formerly of Independence, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at the Stout Home in Davis City, Iowa.

She was born March 23, 1910, in New Haven, Mo., to L.W. and Auguste (Scheer) Hasse.

Her survivors include three daughters, Barbara Ann Dailey, Lamoni, Donna Jean Pierce, Edmond, Okla., and Linda Sue Walker, Lincoln, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Mount Washington Forever Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Leon, Iowa.
