MR. and MRS. JAMES GRANDSTAFF, of Leon,
received word last week of the
death of JOHN KELLY at Carbondale, Illinois,
which occurred on the
llth. MR. KELLY was the husband of MRS. MINA
(KING) KELLY, a former
Weldon girl, and a niece of MR. and MRS.
GRANDSTAFF. MRS. KELLY passed
away some months ago at the KELLY home in
Denver, Colorado, and now the
husband follows. MR. KELLY is well known to
Weldon people where he had
visited at various times. He is also known
at Pleasanton where he and
MRS. KELLY had visited.

MRS. KELLY and her parents, MR. and MRS. A.E.
ALLEN, made their home at
Pleasanton at one time, going later to
Weldon.
