WILLIAM O. LAMB, the third son of W.A. and
H.E. LAMB, died at their home
in Leon, Iowa, Saturday, March l8, l9l6. He
was buried from the Baptist
Church, Leon, Monday, March 20th, l9l6.

The deceased was born at Weldon, Iowa, June
l0th, l890. He left to
mourn his departure, a father, mother, three
brothers and one sister,
MRS. MARY WARNSTAFF, one sister having passed
on before.

He spent his whole life in Decatur County,
moving with his parents to
Leon about eleven years ago. He united with
the Baptist Church soon
after coming to Leon. The last three years
of his life he spent in the
Apolsolic faith, in which faith he died.
Having spent a life of prayer
and consecration to God, he underwent the
trials of this life with
patience until the end came, remembering the
words of his Savior, "He
that endureth to the end shall be saved."

The burial services were conducted by W.T.
Waddell, of Cainsville, Mo.,
from words recorded in 2nd Samuel l-2:23.
"But, now he is dead,
wherefore should I fast? Can I bring him back
again? I shall go to him,
but he shall not return to me."
