Theresa Ann Moore was born in Fayette county, Ohio, Nov. 7, 1844, [and] died at her home in Garden Grove Nov. 4, 1913, aged 68 years, 11 months and 27 days.

With her parents she came to Iowa in 1870 and settled in Decatur county, where she had ever since made her home. She was married to Mr. J. C. Crider in this county in January, 1879, and to this union were born two children,Ella Gertrude who died nine years ago and Fred C., who with the aged husband are left to survive her. She also leaves three brothers and four sisters, W. R. Moore and J. W. Moore of Iola, Kansas, Mrs. Rosa Bennett, of St. Joe, Mo., Mrs. Sarah Major Graham, of Girard, Kansas, Mrs. Jane Stookey, of Good Hope, Ohio, and Mrs. Mary Johnson, of Woodland, as well as many dear friends.She was a devout christian woman, being a member of the Brethren Church, and lived a consistent christian life. She was a kind and loving wife and devoted mother.

Funeral serices were held at the Free Methodist church in Garden Grove on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 5th, conducted by Rev. G. T. Ronk, interment being in the Garden Grove cemetery.
