DEATH NOTICE - JOYCE ANN DAHLIN

DAHLIN, Joyce Ann, 58, of Minneapolis, Minnesota formerly of Grand River, Iowa, died August 11, 2007 in Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral services were held August 16 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, and a private burial was held in Stone Lake, Wisconsin on August 16.

OBITUARY - JOYCE ANN DAHLIN

Joyce Ann DAHLIN was born April 2, 1949 in Osceola, Iowa to Dale and Helen [Van DYKE] STARK and passed away on August 11, 2007 in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 58 years. She grew up in Grand River and graduated in 1967 from Grand Valley Community School. She attended the Grand River United Methodist Church and took part in many activities in UMYF and school with musical talents. She moved to Des Moines where she lived for four years before moving on to Minneapolis where she worked for US Banks in various administrative secretarial positions until her retirement in 2001.

On October 10, 1981 she was united in marriage to Michael John DAHLIN. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church where she was a very active member.

In 2000 she formed a craft business making and selling angels. She and Mike designed and were building their home in Stone lake, Wisconsin. She also loved taking road trips.

She is survived by her husband Michael; mother, Helen CAMDEN; brother, Rodney (Patty) STARK of Mount Ayr, Iowa; 17 nieces and nephews whom they claimed as their own children and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Services were held on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota and a private burial was held in Stone Lake, Wisconsin on Thursday, August 16.

Pallbearers were Don STARK, Darrell STARK, Mike SOBOTKA, Mark DAHLIN, Daniel DAHLIN and Bruce JOHNSON.
