THE HARVEST OF DEATH

The Grim Reaper Gathered in Many Decatur County Citizens
During Closing Days of the Old Year.

Harry Ray Sears.

Harry Ray Sears, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Sears, was born in Center township, Decatur county, Iowa, August 6, 1890, and departed this life at his home in West Helena, Ark., Monday, Nov. 11, 1918, at 8:47 o'clock, of pneumonia following the flu, being at the time of his death, 28 years, 3 months and 5 days old.

He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife, mother and one sister, besides a host of relatives and friends.

He was a kind and loving young man, always ready to lend a helping hand to those who were in need.

A short funeral service was conducted from the family residence, 223 South Fifth Street, Wednesday, Nov. 13th, by Eld. T. T. Thompson, pastor of the Baptist church. Burial in the Odd Fellows cemetery at West Helena, Ark.
