George Moneysmith of Decatur who had been living at the Ella McDowell home in Decatur, died at the Decatur Hospital Monday night. He was a former Leon resident.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Slader Funeral Home Friday. Interment in the Decatur City Cemetery.

He is survived by the following children: Gertrude Bennett, Des Moines, Marie Myerly, What Cheer and Opal Ullom, Austin, Minn.

He also leaves a brother, Loren, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Maude Ross, Burlington, Iowa.

[G.W. Moneysmith was the husband of Margaret A. "Maggie" Ross.]
