Lulu Belle (Jones) Hamilton, aged 99, of Ligutti Tower died of a heart ailment at the Kavanaugh House on Grand in West Des Moines, Iowa. Her body was cremated, and memorial services were at McLaren's Funeral Chapel. Inurnment was at Leon Cemetery in Leon, Iowa.
Mrs. Hamilton was a housesitter and a clerk for: J. C. Penny, S. S. Kresge, and the Lron Flower Shop before retiring. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge in Leon and enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Mrs. Hamilton was preceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Marion.
Mrs. Hamilton was survived by three daughters: Shirley (Hamilton) Beeler of West Des Moines, Donna (Hamilton) Simer of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Sharon (Hamilton) Pace of Des Moines; a son: John Daugs of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister: Pernie (Jones) Cowell of St. Ansgar; 31 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
