Robert Hall, 55, dairy products field man for the State Center Farmers Cooperative Creamery, died Friday evening, February 21 at Marshalltown Area Community Hospital East, following a heart attack.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. L. R. Meinecke Monday at the Wensel-Perrin Funeral Home, State Center and burial was that afternoon in Leon.

Mr. Hall was born at Leon April 24, 1919, a son of Roy and Mary Sales Hall, and was reared in Decatur County. He was a World War II veteran of South Pacific service with 593rd Shore Regiment.

On January 14, 1946, 12 days after his discharge from the armed forces, he married Evelyn Sandy at Des Moines, and they lived in various Central Iowa communities, moving to State Center in 1973.

Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Vicky and Mrs. Carlos Bonilla, both of Chicago, one son, Buryl of Anamosa; a sister, Mrs. Bess McLain of Des Moines; two brothers, Ralph Hall of Hudson and Olin Hall of Hyattsville, Maryland, and one grandchild.
