Evelyn Hall, 74

Evelyn Hall, 74, formerly of State Center, died Thursday, October 12 [1995] at the Marshall County Care Facility [Marshalltown, Iowa].

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in State Center. Bural was in Leon, IA. A memorial fund is being established.

Born March 10, 1921 in Garden Grove, IA, she was the daughter of William Elmer and Lenna Allie Deisher Sandy. She received her education in Leon, graduating from high school in 1939.

On Januray 14, 1946, she was united in marriage to Robert Hall in Des Moines. They lived in several Iowa Communiteis, residing for many years in Hampton where they were members of the First Christian Church. They moved to State Center in 1973.

She was employed as an Acitvity and Medical Aide for the Marshall County Care Facility.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicky (Mrs. Hector) Torrres of Chicago, IL, Cherry (Mrs. Jeffrey) Fouts of State Center; one son, Burl Hall of Fort Dodge, IA; one sister, Kathlyn Funk of St. Joseph, MO; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1975, her parents, two half-sisters, and two half-brothers.
