Albert Jefferson Fulton passed away January 4, 1933 at Leon.

He was the son of Wade and Harriett Fulton and moved with his parents to Decatur county when he was 12 years old. On Feb 19, 1902 he was united in marriage to Katherine Smith and nine children were born to this union. The eldest dying in infancy. During the influenza epidemic of 1919 he lost his wife and three children, death claiming all of them within a week.

The remaining children, who mourn his loss are three sons, Paul, Leslie and Clyde of Leon and two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Warner of Leon and Mrs. Joseph Ryan of Decatur. He also leaves three grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. C. P. Beavers, and three brothers, William, Alpha and Wade Fulton, all of near Leon.

Funeral services were held in the Stewart Funeral Home in Leon, Friday, January 6, 1933 conducted by Rev. Miles Taber, pastor of the Leon Brethren church. Music was rendered by the California male quartet. Burial followed in the Leon cemetery.
