MATILDA MANCHESTER was born in Eden Township,
Decatur County, Iowa,
October 9, l864. She was united in marriage
to BENTON LATTA March 27,
l883, and to this union fifteen children were
born; three having
preceded the mother to the spirit world.

Twelve children and three brothers are left
to mourn the loss of a
mother and sister. She united with the River
View Baptist Church
January 24, l909, and removed by letter June
27, l9l4, to the Yecker
Baptist Church of Kansas City, Kan. The
deceased sister has spent most
of her life in Decatur County, having resided
for the past three years
at Kansas City, Kan.

She departed this life October 20, l9l4.
