MARGARET HELEN, youngest daughter of RALPH
and PATIENCE BAKER, was born
May 5, l894, near Garden Grove, Ia., and
departed this life November ll,
l9l4 at the home of GEORGE CHICK, near Grand
River, Ia., being at the
time of her death 20 years, 6 months and 6
days of age.

She resided with her parents near Garden
Grove until l909, when they
moved to Colorado. She attended the Leon
High School for a time and
finished her course at Eckert, Colo., with
the class of l9l3.
After which she took up the profession of
teaching, having taught last
year at the Vine Oak School, near Pleasanton.
She then attended the
quarter at Highland Park College, Des Moines,
during the summer and was
at present teaching near Grand River, Ia.,
being a very successful
teacher.

She was baptized into the Presbyterian
Church, December, l9l3, and has
lived a consistent Christian life. She
leaves to mourn a mother,
sister, MRS. B. MCDONNOUGH, of Leon, and
brother, GRAHAM BAKER, of
Austin, Colo., besides numerous relatives and
a host of friends.

The funeral services were conducted at Crown
Chapel at ll o'clock
Thursday by Rev. B.F. Jacobs, and interment
followed at Garden Grove
Cemetery.
