ELIZA JANE MCMORRIS, daughter of LEE ANN and GEORGE BUNCH, was born Feb. 28, 1884 near Montecello, Wayne County, Kentucky. She died Thursday, Dec. 19, at Decatur County Hospital, aged 90 years, 9 months and 21 days.

At age nine she moved to Iowa with her parents. She spent most of her life in Decatur County. Early in life she united with the church at Crown Chapel and later with the Leon Brethren Church. After her education she taught in rural schools in Decatur County several years.

On March 3, 1912 she was united in marriage with FRED MCMORRIS. To this union eight children were born: GEORGIA, Leon: RAYMOND, Kellerton; PAUL; DONALD, Lewood, Kan.; DOROTHY RITTENBACK, Jamestown, N. D.; ELIZABETH REMAN, Leon: JOHN, Independence, Iowa and RICHARD, Shawnee Mission. Kan.

She made her home with ELIZABETH and MAURICE REDMAN and sons for the past 11 years.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, sisters and brothers, son PAUL, son-in-law and two infant grandchildren.

Survivors are her children; 25 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; five daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; three sisters-in-law; other relatives and friends.

[Interment was made at Leon Cemetery.]
