Jacqueline Louise Kuster, age 72, of Lineville, Iowa, the daughter of John Curtis and Doreen Katherine (McKinney) Brown, was born March 20, 1942. She died on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Jacky attended Allerton Schools. On October 9, 1958, she married Larry Eugene Kuster in Panora, Iowa. They were blessed with three children, Larry, Jr., Cathy, and Jerry. The family lived various places before settling in Decatur County, Iowa in 1971. Jacky was a stay at home mom and helped Larry on the farm before she started working at Lamoni Products. After a few years there, she started a long career in the restaurant business. She had cafés in Lineville, Davis City, and Decatur.

In her free time, Jacky loved cookouts, her family, especially the grandchildren, gardening, bird watching, and talking to people. She and Larry played music together; she played several instruments and also sang. Her favorite holiday was Christmas.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Arch Brown on December 25, 2001; sister, Mary Jo Brown on October 16, 2014; and daughter-in-law, Lauraine Kuster on October 29, 2011.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Kuster of Lineville; children, Larry Kuster, Jr. of Lineville, Cathy Kuster of Leon, and Jerry Kuster and wife June of Davis City, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and their spouses, Larry Kuster, III, Vicky Helton and Logan, Shannon Reed and Bill, Amy Overhake and Michael, Scott Kuster and Kaylee, Damon Wiseman, Chris Wiseman and Crystal, Brian Wiseman, Aaron Wiseman and Leara, Adrienne Wiseman and Scott, Allison Moebus and Chris, Jerry Kuster, Jr., James Kuster and Rebecca, and Judy Kuster and Neil; 36 great grandchildren; brother, Johnny C. Brown and wife Juanita of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home, Leon, the Rev. Max Carmichael officiating. Interment was made at Clio Cemetery.
