MAXINE ANNABELLE, daughter of NEWTON REX and JOSIE EDITH POLLARD BOOR, was born Oct. 29, 1914 at LeRoy, Iowa and died at her home near High Point, Iowa February 13, 1983, age 68.

MAXINE lived her life in the LeRoy, Garden Grove and High Point vicinity. She graduated from the LeRoy school.

On Oct. 27, 1945 she was married to ALLEN JOSEPH KUCERA at Chariton, Iowa. Two sons were born to them, ALLEN JOSEPH, Jr., and MICHAEL JAMES.

MAXINE was an operator and the cashier for the Middle States Telephone Co. Then for 27 years she was clerk and then Postmaster at Garden Grove, Iowa, retiring in 1978.

MAXINE was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Methodist church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and son, JOE.

Survivors include her husband, ALLEN, of Garden Grove; son, MICHAEL and wife, BECK, Ankeny, Iowa; granddaughter, KAREN GAIL; sister, IRENE PARSONS and husband, WAYNE, Leon, Iowa; brother, DWIGHT BOOR, Casper, Wyo.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

[Interment was made at Garden Grove Cemetery.]
