GEORGE MARION HOFFMAN, the only child of JOHN STONE HOFFMAN and LUCY ELLEN EVANS HOFFMAN, was born Nov. 28, 1932 at Des Moines, Iowa. his family made their home in Leon, Iowa where GEORGE graduated from the Leon High School. His parent preceded him in death. GEORGE was married before entering the armed service. He and his wife, JEAN, were parents of 3 children: GREGG, JUDY and JOHN. He served in the United States Air Force almost 9 years, then moved to Omaha, Ne. GEORGE died at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha on April 25, 1983 after an extended illness.

[Interment was made at Leon Cemetery.]
