Obituary.

LOUIE TULLIS GREENLAND, the youngest son of LIEU and STELLA GREENLAND, was born June 1, 1908, near Grand River, Iowa and departed this life at the home of his mother on June 11, 1948, being at the time of his death 40 years and six days of age.

He was united in marriage with VALERIA WARD July 2, 1927. To this union was born two sons and one daughter, the daughter passing away in infancy. Those left to mourn his passing are as follows: His sons, LOUIS WARD GREENLAND of Oceanside, California, who is now in the marines, ROBERT FRANKLIN GREENLAND of the home. His mother Mrs. STELLA GREENLAND, and his sister, Mrs. MARY BROWN also survive. He also leaves four half brothers and two half sisters, besides a host of relatives and friends. No one can ever know his great suffering yet he bore it with patience and always has a smile for those who cared for him and for those who came to his bedside.

Funeral services in charge of the Lamoree funeral home, were held from the Methodist church in Grand River, Iowa, June 14, 1948, at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. E. C. VANDERPOOL of Cainsville, Mo., and a friend of the family, with interment in the Westerville Cemetery.
