Leon, Decatur County, IowaElizabeth Conwell died March 19, 1933 at Leon, Iowa.
Born on July 17, 1879, Elizabeth was the daughter of William and Christina Adair. In her early twenty's she was united in marriage to Ike Womplar, who went to his resting place after many happy years with his bride.
In 1910 she was reunited in marriage to James A. Conwell. She leaves to mourn her departure a loving husband, one nephew, Ransom Adair, who made his home with them and was very loyal to his aunt, also three sisters Mrs. Josie Turpin, Mrs. Rebecca Adair, both of Leon, Mrs. Susie Dooley of Centerville, Iowa and one half sister, Janie McGraw, of Colorado Springs Col. and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in the Stewart Funeral Home in Leon, conducted by Rev. Miles Taber, pastor of the Leon Brethren church. Burial was in the Leon cemetery.
