Mrs. Rosa Ann Combs, wife of Charles F Combs, died at her home in Leon on Monday morning, Dec 10, 1906, at the age of 40 years, 3 months and 26 days. She had been in poor health for several years, but her final illness was only a few days duration.

The deceased was born in Muscatine county, Iowa, August 14, 1866. She was united in marriage to Charles F. Combs June 4 1885, and to them was born six children, who with the husband are left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother and loving wife.

She united with the Christian church some fourteen years ago under Elder Joseph Porter and lived a consistent and conscientious christian life.

Funeral services were held from the home on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Elder E. M. Romine, pastor of the Leon Churistian church, interment being in the Leon Cemetery.
