Orris M. Jordan was born in Decatur County, Iowa December 3, 1866, and died November 1, 1929 at Clinton, Oklahoma.

Orris was the son of John P. and Eliza J. Jordan. He was married to Miss Ella Miller on the 30th of March 1892. To this union two children were born: J. Paul Jordan of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Des Moines, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, the two children and two grandchildren, Marjorie Ruth Jordan and Patricia Ann Thompson. He is also survived by three brothers, Otto C. Jordan of Garden Grove; Ross Jordan of Des Moines, and Delph Jordan of Weldon, also three sisters, Mrs. Frank Lillard of Azusa, Calif.; Mrs. Allie Gelwicks of Glrendale, Calif., and Mrs. Willis Gellogly of Miami, Florida.

Services were held at the Presbyterian church Tuesday forenoon, interment being in the Garden Grove Cemetery.
