Obituary ~ Edrie E. Davis

Services for Edrie E. Davis of Altoona Manor Care Center, 200 Seventh Ave. S.W., Altoona, will be at 3 p.m. today at Slade and Duerr Funeral Home in Leon.

Burial will be in the Garden Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis, 82, died of a heart ailment Wednesday at home. A former waitress and hostess at Younkers Tea Room, Mrs. Davis was born in Leon and lived in Leon, Osceola and Des Moines most of her life before moving to the care center five years ago.

She was a member of the Brethren Church in Leon.

Survivors include a son, Don of Des Moines; a sister, Audrey Cox of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
