Jacob Brazelton Passes Away

JACOB BRAZELTON, a former resident of this county, died on February 29th, at his home in Elbert, Colorado, after a short illness. His brothers, JOHN BRAZELTON, of Garden Grove, CLABE BRAZELTON, of Leon, and A. C. BRAZELTON, of near Leon, were there to attend the funeral services which were held on Saturday, March 4th. Mr. BRAZELTON had been a resident of Colorado since 1871 and was on of the prominent and highly respected citizens of the city of Elbert. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all.

[NOTE: Jacob was born December 14, 1849, Milwaukee WI, and died in 1916, interment made at Elbert, Colorado. He was the son of William and Huldah Brazelton. ~ SRB]
