Obituary ~ Alma Ava (Rains) Bremer
November 26, 1879 ~ December 15, 1949

ALMA AVA, youngest child of GEORGE and FREDRICIA RAINS, was born November 26, 1879, at their farm home in Woodland township, Decatur county, where she grew to womanhood. She slipped quietly away December 15, 1949, at her home in Woodland at the age of 70 years and 19 days. On March 4, 1903, she was united in marriage with P. M. BREMER.

Those surviving to mourn her death are her husband and one sister, Mrs. ELLA SMITH of Garden Grove, Iowa, also many nieces, nephews and many other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

She was converted in the Adventist Christian church when young and went about doing good in her kind and quiet way. All will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were at Woodland church Saturday, December 17, at 2. p. m. conducted by Rev. ROY DONELSON. Burial at the LENTZ cemetery.
