Obituary ~ Lenna E. (Cummins) Beers
February 07, 1894 ~ March 12, 1978

LENNA E. BEERS, daughter of ARTHUR and ANNA DUNN CUMMINS, was born Feb. 7, 1894 near Decatur, Iowa, and died March 12, 1978 at the Decatur County Hospital, age 84 years.

She attended the Leon Public School system and taught school before her marriage to FRED T. BEERS on April 29, 1915. They farmed near Grand River until 1968, then moved to Leon.

She was an active member of the Loving Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband in 1972; parents; two brothers; and one sister.

LENNA is survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

[Interment was made in Leon Cemetery, Leon, Iowa.]
