Obituary ~ Lua Arnold

LUA, the daughter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. ARNOLD, died at their home last Thursday morning, after an illness of two or three weeks. The funeral services were conducted from the residence on Sunday afternoon, and a large number of our people were present. LUA was a bright child, just coming to girlhood, and her unusually pleasant and amiable disposition made her an agreeable associate to all her little friends and this, coupled with the fact that she was an only child, makes her loss a severe blow to her parents.

NOTE: Lura was born in 1882, the daughter of Thomas Sylvanus & Kate (Finley) Arnold. She died in 1891 and was interred at Leon Cemetery. ~ SRB
