Alma Victor Amundson passed away Monday, May 16, 1977 at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon. He was one of eight children, born to Ole and Jeanette C. Ballantyne Amundson at Soldier, Iowa on July 20, 1893.
After serving his country in France during World War I, he was united in marriage to Mildred Struble in Sioux City, Iowa in 1919. They were the parents of three children.
Preceding him in death were his parents; 2 sister: Edna Baughman and Florence Amundson; and 2 brothers: Darrell and Elmer Amundson.
Survivors include his wife and 3 children; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Fred Amundson, Central Point, Oregon and Harold Amundson, Soldier, Iowa; one sister: Ruby Struble, Turin, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.
