EARL MATHIAS JENNINGS, son of MR. and MRS.
OLIVER JENNINGS, was born
January l, l896, and died at the home of his
parents, June l2, l9l4,
after a short illness, at the age of l8
years, 5 months and ll days.

He was a kind and loving son and brother. He
was loved by all who knew
him, always ready to lend a helping hand. He
will be sadly missed by
all. He leaves a father, mother, five
sisters and one brother, MRS.
LULU JOHNSON, WILDA, MYRTLE, JENNIE, LORENA
and JOSEPH JENNINGS, and a
host of loving friends to mourn his
departure.

'Tis hard to break the tender cord,
When love has bound the heart,
'Tis hard so hard to speak the word,
Must we forever part?

Dearest Earl, true we have laid thee
In the peaceful grave's embrace.
But thy memory will be cherished
Till we see thy Heavenly face.

We miss thee from our home, Earl,
We miss thee from thy place.
A shadow o'er our home is cast,
We miss the sunshine of thy face.

We miss thy kind and willing hand.
Thy fond and earnest care,
Our home is dark without thee,
We miss thee everywhere.

Far beyond this would of changes,
Far beyond this world of care,
We shall find our missing loved one
In our Father's mansion fair.
