Word was received here Monday by relatives,
of the death of JIM C.
HUTCHINSON, who died June 8th, at his home at
Lents, Oregon, aged 75
years and l month. He had been failing for
some time but passed away
very suddenly with heart failure. The
remains were shipped to Joseph,
Oregon, Saturday, June l3th and buried beside
his son who died a number
of years ago. He leaves a wife and one
daughter, MRS. MYRTLE HORNOR, to
mourn his untimely death.

He was formerly a resident of Leon, being in
the mercantile business
with his brother-in-law, I.N. BEAVERS,
leaving Leon in the year of l882
and making Oregon his home ever since. He
will be remembered by many of
the older citizens of Leon and this vicinity
who extend their heartfelt
sympathy to the bereaved wife, daughter and
relatives in this hour of
sorrow.
