FRED TEALE, brother of THOS. TEALE, of Leon,
passed away at his home in
Los Angeles, California, last Saturday, being
over seventy-eight years
old at the time of his death. MR. TEALE was
born in England in l836,
and came to the United States in l843. MR.
TEALE came to Decatur County
in l859. He enlisted in the Union Army
during the Civil War, making a
splendid record as a soldier.

MR. TEALE left Decatur County many years ago
for California, Los Angeles
having been his home for some time. He had
been in poor health for
several months and had gradually failed until
death resulted.
