JAMES W. ALBAUGH, son of EDMUND and MINNIE KEELER ALBAUGH, was born Sept. 11, 1907 in Decatur County, Iowa and died at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa on March 6, 1985, age 77 years, 5 months and 25 days. He was united in marriage to ZELMA HILL May 25, 1929. To this union three sons were born: MARION LLOYD, MAX EDMUND and MORRIS JAMES. JIM lived all of his life in Decatur County. He was a member of the Loving Chapel United Methodist Church of Leon. Proceeding him in death were his parents; infant brother, HARRY; brother-in-law, TOM HOLDER; and sister-in-law, OPAL. Surviving are his widow, ZELMA, Leon; three sons: MARION ALBAUGH and wife ARLENE El Toro, Ca.; MAX ALBAUGH and wife, ELAIN Decatur, Iowa; and MORRIS ALBAUGH and wife MILDRED, Leon; brother, LYMAN ALBAUGH and wife CHARMIAN, Independence, Iowa; sister, LOUIS HOLDER, Lubbock, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

[Interment was made at Leon Cemetery.]
