NETTIE MAY, the youngest daughter of MR. and
MRS. J.B. PIERSOL, born
Nov. 7, l882, and died at the home of her
parents in Woodland Township,
Jan. 23, l895, after a brief illness of a few
days. The funeral
services were conducted at the home Jan. 24,
after which the remains
were laid to rest in Union Cemetery followed
by a large concourse of
sorrowing friends and relatives. She was a
bright and intelligent girl;
she was a favorite with all her playmates and
is sadly missed in the
school room and on the play ground, by her
teacher and playmates. She
leaves a father, mother, four brothers, one
sister, and a host of
friends to mourn her departure.

There is no death;

What seems so is
transition

This life of mortal breath,

Is but a suburb of life
Elysian

Whose portals we call
Death.
