Born April 9th, l884, died of typhoid fever
Nov. 28th, l894, age l0
years, 7 months and l9 days. Little LAURA
WEBSTER the bright and only
child of WM. and IDA WEBSTER, was laid to
rest in the Dye Cemetery
Thanksgiving day, after an illness of three
weeks, of extreme suffering,
of which she bore with patience and fortitude
but often expressing a
desire to be at rest. Darling LAURA was a
child you knew her but to
love her. Those who knew her best loved her
most. Being kind and
genial both as a playmate and pupil, she had
woven unbroken friendships
between scholars and teachers. There is a
vacancy in the home of the
bereaved parents which never can be filled.
The dear one who brought
sunshine to the home is gone.

The friends that met to pay the last respect
needed not injunction of a
kind Savior to 'weep with those that weep',
for each eye was dimmed as
we took our last look at little LAURA.

--HER TEACHER.
