DIED--At his father's home in Burrell
Township, HIRAM DEAN, second son
of B. STOUT and wife after a lingering
illness patiently borne. This
kind and true-hearted boy was born July 25,
l878, his death occurred
Sept. 20, l894. He was in his seventeenth
year.

HIRAM was a good boy, kind to his parents,
careful with his companions,
a respecter of those who are Christians, but
his race in life was soon
run and he has crossed the silent river to
return no more.

The funeral took place at the Palestine
Church. The sermon was preached
by Rev. F. Edwards from 2 Samuel l8:32. Is
the young man safe? After
the friends had taken their last look at the
remains, all that was
mortal was laid in the dust to rest till
Christ shall bid it rise at the
last day.

--F. EDWARDS.
