“Mrs. Della May Keller [Keeler] who has been in ill health for several years died at a Nursing Home in Indianola last Monday night. Funeral services were held at the Webster Funeral home in Osceola Thursday at 2 p.m. with burial at Green Bay cemetery.”

“Mrs. Della May Keeler”

“Della May Keeler, the daughter of Benjamin F. Hall and Martha Ann Walton Hall was born September 3, 1878 in Clarke county, Iowa and passed away April 14, 1964 at the Jefferson Nursing Home in Indianola.

On March 16, 1909 in Clarke county she was married to Bert West Keeler [son of John Wesley Keeler and Rebecca Lucretia Ewing], and into this union was born three children. She was educated in the Clarke and Decatur schools and lived her entire life in Clarke county as a housewife. She was a member of the 4-D club and the Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Murrow of Des Moines; two sons; Wayne Keeler and Maurice Keeler of Weldon; eight grandchildren, and ten great greadchildren and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, Bert and two brothers, Charles E. Hall, and Ed P. Hall.

The funeral service was held at the Webster Funeral Home, Thursday, April 16, 1964, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Clinton D. Wolf and Rev. Charles C. Miller officiated and interment was in Greenbay cemetery.”
