BAILEY, Linda Lou [Siddall], 64, of Chillicothe, Missouri, died on Monday, September 5, 2011, in Chillicothe. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Lamoni, Iowa, with High Priest David L. Siddall officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, in Lamoni, Iowa.

LINDA LOU [SIDDALL] BAILEY ... Linda Lou [Siddall] Bailey, the eldest of seven children, was born to Cecil Frederick Siddall and Mary Lou [Fales] Siddall in Laurens, Iowa on September 5, 1947 and died on September 8, 2011 in Chillicothe, MO at the age of 64 years. Linda spent most of her childhood in various farms and homes in Iowa. During high school, the family moved to Kansas City, MO where she graduated from East High School in 1966.

That fall, she enrolled at Graceland College in Lamoni, IA. On September 2, 1968, she married David "Dave" Robert Bailey. Two children were born to this union: Michelle Denise and Michael David. The family made their home in several towns in Iowa and Missouri. During Dave's time in the Navy, the family was stationed in San Diego, CA, and other ports. Linda was a homemaker.

Linda joined the now Community of Christ Church in her youth and remained a faithful follower throughout her entire life. She had a gentle, empathetic, and patient spirit. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed salon days, butterflies, and everything purple.

Preceding her in death were her parents and former spouse.

Surviving are her six siblings: Nancy Ann Fisher and Phil of Paola, KS, Jessie Fern Rosenblum and Josef of Scottsdale, AZ, Cecile Susan Gough and Tex of Derby, KS, Frederick Charles Siddall of Independence, MO, John Mark Siddall of The Woodlands, TX, and David Lloyd Siddall and Rachel of The Woodlands, TX; two children, Michelle Denise Herndon and fiance Robert Wilber of Odessa, MO and Michael David Bailey and Megan of Oak Grove, MO; and granddaughter Brittany Marie Bailey of Oak Grove.
