OMA LEE [CAIN] MADOLE ... Oma Lee [Cain] Madole, daughter of John W. and Clella M. Cain, was born April 7, 1922, in Cainsville, Mo., and passed away March 28, 1970, in Polk City, Ia., at the age of 47 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

Oma was united in marriage to Vern Madole, in November, 1969. They made their home in Ankenny, Ia.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Betty Cooper, Altoona, Ia., and Joan Leonard, Altoona, Ia.; seven grandchildren, two son-in-laws; her mother; five sisters, Mrs. Pauline Long, Emporia, Kan., Mrs. Anna Conway, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Mildred Aldrich, Davis City, Ia., Mrs. Betty Craig, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Barbara Long, Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Johnny J. Cain, Irwin, Mo., and Jack W. Cain, Ridgeway, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert William and her father.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Cainsville, Missouri.

"There's an open gate at the end of the road

Through which each must go alone,

And there, in a light we cannot see,

Our Father claims his own.

Beyond the gate our loved one finds happiness and rest,

And there is comfort in the thought

That a loving God knows best,"

Funeral services were held at the Stoklasa Funeral home, Friday afternoon, April 3, with Rev. Earl F. Swafford, Cainsville, officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Lester Hudson, who sang, "Abide With Me" and "Each Step I Take". Mrs. Marvin Elmore was pianist.

Pall bearers were Raymond Crawley, Alvie Crawley, Darrell Cain, Dick Long, Mack Long, and Don Craig.

Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Cainsville.
