DEATH NOTICE:

(The Leon Journal-Reporter Leon, Iowa May 25, 2011)

ROCKHOLD, Caleb Douglas, 32, of Clio, Iowa, died on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at his home. Memorial services were held on Friday, May 20, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lineville, Iowa, Assembly of God Church with Pastors Wilburn Bennett and Aaron Stark officiating, under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Lineville, Iowa. Inurnment of the cremains will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville at a later date.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Lineville Assembly of God Church in lieu of flowers. Contributions may be mailed to Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service, PO Box 316, Princeton, MO 64673.

CALEB DOUGLAS ROCKHOLD ... Caleb Douglas Rockhold, son of Jerry Dean Rockhold, Jr. and Linda Marie Lowrey, was born in Leon, Iowa, on March 20, 1979, and passed away on May 14, 2011, at his home near Clio, Iowa, at the age of 32 years.

Caleb is survived by his mother, Linda M. Lowrey (and her companion, Don West) of Princeton, Missouri, his father Junior Rockhold of Creston, Iowa; his paternal grandmother, Betty Rockhold, of Lineville, Iowa; his sister, Lacey Marie Rockhold and her companion Brandon) of Macon, Missouri; a step-brother, Chad Barker (and his wife, Sherri) of Lineville; and by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many very close friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Rockhold; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Jane Lowrey; and by an uncle, Douglas Rockhold.

Caleb was a 1997 graduate of the Lineville-Clio High School and received an A.A. Degree in Drafting from Vatterott College of St. Joseph, Missouri. He used this degree in his work as a surveyor for the Trans-Systems Company of Kansas City, Missouri, and later worked as the bookkeeper for the M.F.A. Exchange of Corydon, Iowa.

Caleb loved and enjoyed life to the fullest, and everyone he met. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and barbecuing. He was a great person who will be missed by his family and friends, forever.
