DEATH NOTICE:

PASCHELL, LUCILLE, 89, of Perry Iowa,died on Friday, August 27, 2010. A 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service was held at Murdock Funeral Home in Perry on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Officiating the service was Rev. Ken Ahntholz. Burial was in Violet Hill Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Lucille's name and contributions may be left at the funeral home.

LUCILLE PASCHELL ... Lucille was born in Pleasanton, Iowa on July 5, 1921 to John C. and Elsie Sample Bartlett. She was united in marriage to Walter (Barney) Paschell in Kansas in April of 1944. They were brought to Bouton in 1949 where Lucille was the Bouton Telephone Operator and Barney was the lineman. Later Lucille and Barney were owners of Fox's Lunch in Perry until 1976. She spent endless hours being involved and enjoying Lake Robbins Ballroom for many, many years.

After Barney's death on October 16, 1979, Lucille managed to keep her life very active. After she retired, Lucille became on of the founders of the Bouton Betterment Committee and also Bouton Saurkart Days that was a yearly event. Lucille enjoyed volunteering her time to help with Perry's Congregate Meals and spent fifteen years as a foster grandparent at the Woodward Resource Center.

Lucille and her close friends would spend time together on a regular basis and volunteer to help with anything from cleaning at Lake Robbins to helping with the many events that Bouton would have, or just being together having fun in what they called their, "Group Therapy".

Lucille was 89 years old at the time of her death on Friday, August 27, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, he husband, a sister and three brothers.

Lucille is survived by her children: Walt (Linda) Paschell of Osceola, Jan (Dee) Paschell of Bouton, King Paschell of Bouton, Tony Paschell of Bouton, Leora (Bob) James of Bouton and Lyn Wilkinson of Bouton. Her twelve grandchildren: Jeff (Angie) Paschell, Mike (Devita) Paschell, Mark Paschell (Erin Schinzel), Emily Selsor (John Tidman), Jesse (Beth) James, Jon James, Chad Kinkennon, Dustin Wilkinson, Jocelyn Kovaleski, Melissa (Gale ) Phillips, Brian Holst, Darrin (Laura) Holst, twenty-eight great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Joyce Bartlett and many nieces and nephews.
