McDANIEL, Dorothy Mae [Still], 88, died Saturday, June 22, 2008, a Crown Colony, Lamoni, Iowa with her three children at her side. By her wishes she was cremated.

Memorial in honor of Dorothy can be made to the Crown Colony dinning room.

DOROTHY MAE McDANIEL [STILL] ... Dorothy Mae McDaniel [Still], 88 years old, was born February 9, 1920, to Clarence Alvin Still and Pearl Ann Still in Hastings, Nebraska, and died June 22, 2008 at Crown Colony in Lamoni, Iowa.

On August 4, 1941 she married J. Franklin McDaniel in Bethany, MO. Four children were born to this union: Larry, Joann, Joyce, and Kelly.

Dorothy was a farmer, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, avid card player, and a long time volunteer at Crown Colony.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brothers, Harold and Norman; sister, Hazel.

She is survived by her 4 children; 4 grandchildren: Julie and Laura Demange and Valarie and Brian McDaniel; her sister, Berniece Tellier; and her great granddaughter, Pfeiffer Schupp.
