JOHN W. CAIN, 70 DIES AT HIS HOME ... John W. Cain, 70, died Saturday at his home in Cainsville. Funeral Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Cainsville Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Swafford officiating. Burial was in the Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mr. Cain was a member of the Cainsville Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.

He leaves his wife of the home, Mrs. Clella Cain; two sons, Jack W. Cain of Ridgeway and Johnny J. Cain of Irwin; six daughters, Mrs. Pauline Long, Emporia, Kans.; Mrs. Anna Heimboug, Kansas City; Mrs. Oma Cain, Ankeny, Ia.; Mrs. Mildred Aldrich, Davis City, Ia.; Mrs. Barbara Lend, Dallas Tex., and Mrs. Betty Craig, Kansas City; five brothers, Harvey Cain, Blythedale; Paul Cain, Ridgeway; Claud Cain, Fred Cain and Eddie Cain, all of Cainsville, and one sister Mrs. Ethel Smith of Blythedale.

JOHN WILLIAM CAIN, 70, DIED AT HIS HOME IN CAINSVILLE ... He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Cainsville First Baptist Church. Son of Nellie and William Cain, was born 12 June 1899, in Cainsville, Mo. and passed away at his home in Cainsville, Mo. 25 October 1969, age 70 years 4 months and 13 days.

He grew up in Cainsville, Mo. He was united in marriage to Clella M. Brower at Cainsville, Mo., 26 May 1917. To this union nine children were born; Clella Pauline, Anna Mae, Oma Lee, Johnny Junior, Mildred Faye, Betty June, Barbara Jean, Jackie William, sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Robert Willam.

He leaves five brothers: Claude and Fred of Cainsville, Mo. Harvey and Eddie of Blythedale, Mo., Paul of Ridgeway; and one sister, Ethel Smith of Blythedale. He placed his membership in 1953 with the Baptist Church at Cainsville, Mo. and lived a faithful life. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cainsville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Swafford officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery at Cainsville.
